Welcome to the Sticks (2008)

If you feel like having a nice time in front of your television, you should watch Welcome to the Sticks. Remember! This film starring Dany Boon and Kad Merad was a huge success in France and abroad. It is about a French post office manager who is transferred to the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, more specifically in Bergues. This nice comedy is guaranteed to make you laugh!

Amélie (2001)

Among the French classic films, there is Amélie. This romantic comedy released in 2001 has received many awards, including best film in 2002. This fable will immerse you into Paris and especially the Montmartre area. You will follow the adventures of Amélie, a shy young woman who falls in love with a man who collects ID photos thrown under a photo booth.

Lucy (2014)

This science fiction film defeated Untouchable in 2014, at the first place in the list of French films most seen abroad. In this film directed by Luc Besson, you can see Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman. The story is about a young student who develops extraordinary cognitive capacities after being injected drugs in the lower abdomen.

The Fifth Element (1997)

Another Luc Besson film, The Fifth Element is one of the five worldwide box-office successes among French films. Though this science fiction film is a little old now, it will still take you into a futuristic world where humans and aliens live together. You will watch Bruce Willis fight a threat against planet Earth. If you like action and science fiction, this film is for you!
